Scout Uniform

 

Dear Leaders and Members

 

This is a friendly reminder that by the end of February 2010 all Leaders and Members in NSW, in all sections of Scouting, are all required to be wearing the same uniform as detailed in the attached memo from the Chief Commissioner way back on 14 April 2008.

 

The Transition period ends then, not starts then.

 

You are also reminded that the 5 year transition period from the old Khaki uniform ended way back in November 2008.

 

For those Leaders and youth members already in the correct uniform – keep up the good work.

For those Leaders   and youth members that still need to make the transition below the waste, please take steps NOW to ensure it is completed by the end of February.

For those Leaders who are still in their khaki uniforms – take a good look at why you are in Scouts and make a decision to comply with the uniform standards NOW.  There are no exceptions, no excuses, no reasons, no nothing.

 

Remember Scouts is a Uniformed Organisation
