On the 27th to the 30th of September Our Special Needs Group Campbelltown Ghosts attended Scouts NSW special needs camp called Agoonoree at Bundilla Scout camp.

Agoonoree is a Jamboree specifically for Scouts with special needs, organised by the Scouts NSW Special Needs Team and supporters. It provides an opportunity for Scouts to gather and enjoy a wide range of activities and make new friends. The camp was open to all Sections, as well as parents, carers and helpers.

Activities they participated in were suited to all ability levels and are included archery, campfire, climbing wall, cooking, crafts, games and puzzles, movie, music, scavenger hunt, and much more!  There was also a “Chill Out” youth zone and “Chatterbox” leader/helper base.

In the spirit of inclusion one of our Campbelltown Ghosts scouts who is wheel chair bound did not miss out in participating in one of the most exciting activities “The Rock Climbing Wall” With some help he was able to get most of the way up before Abseiling down.

They were able to participate in cultural activities including a Chinese dragon dance.

All our youth had a great time getting out from behind the screens and experiencing the outdoors first hand in
